Onward: With hope, with purpose, with determination. In partnership, in strength, in gratitude. Toward justice, toward love, toward a brighter day.
We are so grateful that so many of you joined us for our 2026 Annual Meeting — nonprofit leaders, generous donors and advisors, public officials and friends and family. We learned together about how New Hampshire’s nonprofits are moving forward in these deeply uncertain and challenging times; we celebrated and thanked Dick Ober as he retires after 16 years leading the Foundation; and we welcomed Shawn Morehead as our next president and CEO.
We hope you were as inspired as we were by the nonprofit leaders who shared their stories of moving onward in these challenging times: Devon Chaffee of the ACLU of New Hampshire, Borja Alvarez de Toledo of Waypoint, Karina Bonilla and Dr. Trinidad Tellez of Centro Latino de New Hampshire and Sam Evans-Brown of Clean Energy New Hampshire.
We heard from Vice President of Community Engagement and Impact Simon Delekta, Vice President for Communications Kristen Oliveri and Evelyn Aissa and Joe Morone of our board of directors — and many others, who shared their reflections and tributes to Dick via video. And we enjoyed a great performance by the Jordan TW Trio (yes, we asked some Celtic musicians to play the Grateful Dead’s “Touch of Grey,” and wow, did they pull it off!).
Please enjoy and share these photos and video from the evening. And thank you for all that you do to help make New Hampshire a community where everyone can thrive.
