  • Vice President for Development and Philanthropy Services

    The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has an opening for a Vice President for Development and Philanthropy Services. As chief development officer and a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President will be primarily responsible for leading a highly effective philanthropy and donor services team. The Vice President will oversee the development and implementation of donor acquisition strategies as well as ensure long term engagement through effective donor services. In addition to working directly with high net worth individuals, the Vice President will lead efforts to enhance external partnerships with wealth and philanthropic advisors. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who believes strongly in the power of community foundations and brings a strong commitment to community-based work being done in the State of New Hampshire.

    Requirements include ten or more years of leadership experience in developing, implementing and adapting strategies to attract and engage high net worth charitable donors; experience with diverse giving tools such as planned giving and donor advised funds strongly preferred.

  • Executive Associate to the Vice President of Community Impact

    The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has an opening for an executive associate to the vice president of community impact. This position primarily provides executive level administrative support to the vice president of community impact, assigned department directors and senior program officers, and administrative support for department initiatives. Typical responsibilities include managing the vice president of community impact’s schedule; arranging and preparing for meetings, speeches and events; preparing briefing materials; and coordinating department functions.

    Requirements include a minimum of three years of relevant work experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting; and excellent computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet, Go To Meeting, conference calling and routine database activity.

    The right candidate will be highly organized, efficient and flexible with an ability to work independently and with a team; strong communication skills; and a passion for supporting New Hampshire communities.

  • Senior Program Officer, Monadnock Region

    The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has an opening for Senior Program Officer. The Senior Program Officer is responsible for advancing the Foundation’s vision and achieving community impact through effective grantmaking, managing grant programs, advancing Foundation initiatives, and informing donor-advised grantmaking. This position is focused on the Monadnock region with an additional focus on Workforce and Economic Development as a specific issue area.

    Requirements include a minimum of a four-year degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience; public sector experience, such as nonprofit program or board experience; and excellent computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web-based tools, and database experience.

    This position will be based in or near the Monadnock Region, with part-time presence in the Concord office.
