Open Positions

  • Assistant Controller

    The Assistant Controller reports to the Controller and serves as a key leader in the Finance department, assisting in all aspects of the accounting and fiscal management of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. This role ensures the integrity of the financial reporting system and fulfills internal and external financial reporting requirements. Primary functions include compiling financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), preparing and reviewing journal entries, preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, supporting payroll, identifying and designing process improvements, and developing and monitoring adherence to internal controls.

    The starting salary range for the Assistant Controller position is $110,000 – $120,000 – commensurate with experience.

  • Community Partner - Neil and Louise Tillotson Funds

    The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has an opening for a Community Partner – Neil and Louise Tillotson Funds.

    The Community Partner is responsible for advancing the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund’s Strategic Plan in alignment with Strategies 1 and 2 of Together We Thrive. The primary focus of the position is community engagement, effective grantmaking, implementing grant programs and contributing to Tillotson Fund strategic initiatives and operations. The Community Partner also develops and shares information and knowledge with Charitable Foundation staff, the Tillotson Fund Donor-Advised committee and community members. The position is based in a home office in the North Country of New Hampshire and requires regional travel in the Neil and Tillotson Fund region (Coös and Upper Grafton Counties, and towns in Maine and Vermont that share a border with Coös County and the MRC De Coaticook in Québec, Canada).

    The starting salary range for the Community Partner position is $76,271 to $79,661, commensurate with experience.
