NH Gives raises $3.76 million for nearly 700 nonprofits across New Hampshire

More than 15,000 Granite Staters donated upwards of $3.76 million for 680 participating organizations during NH Gives, the state’s annual online day of giving organized by the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits.

“NH Gives is about more than raising money, it’s about celebrating the organizations that make New Hampshire communities stronger every day,” said Kathleen Reardon, CEO of the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits. “People across the state came together to support causes they care about, discover new organizations, and be part of something bigger than themselves. The generosity of more than 15,000 donors shows just how deeply Granite Staters value the nonprofits that enrich our communities, care for our neighbors, and help our state thrive.”

This year’s fundraising effort included $1.2 million in matching funds, pledged by donors and foundations to encourage giving and amplify the impact of individual contributions.

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, a longtime NH Gives partner, also awarded $30,000 in Power of Community incentive prizes to organizations that attracted the largest number of unique online donors.

Organizations representing a wide range of causes participated in this year’s event, including human services, housing, food security, youth development, arts and culture, environmental conservation, animal welfare, and historic preservation.

Among the top-performing organizations were:

• Our Place Housing Solutions (Dover), which raised over $50,000 to support housing and services for adults with developmental disabilities in the Seacoast region.
• NicaLove (Rye), an animal welfare organization, attracted 438 donors, the highest donor total of any participating organizations.
• New Hampshire Food Bank, Mount Washington Observatory, and New Hampshire Public Radio took the Power of Community Prizes for large organizations with the largest number of unique donors.
• NicaLove, Our Place NH, and The Freedom Cafe took the Power of Community Prizes for medium-sized organizations with the largest number of unique donors.
• Friends of Mascoma Foundation, Windham Endowment, and the Friends of Distant Hill Nature Trail took the Power of Community Prizes for small-sized organizations with the largest number of unique donors.

Nonprofits across New Hampshire continue to face rising demand for services while navigating ongoing financial pressures. Funds raised through NH Gives help organizations advance their missions and provide essential services for their communities.

Since its launch in 2016, NH Gives has raised more than $25 million for more than 1,200 nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit registration for next year’s NH Gives opens in February 2027.
