The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has awarded more than $4.3 million in grant funding to 134 nonprofit organizations through its 2025 Community Grants program.
The application grants program is made possible through the generosity of New Hampshire people, past and present, who have donated resources to the Foundation to help make New Hampshire a community where everyone can thrive. Funding for these grants comes from a combination of fund types at the Foundation, including flexible funds, field-of-interest funds and donor-advised funds.
“Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are able to support nonprofit organizations doing critical work every day to make our New Hampshire community stronger for everyone,” said Simon Delekta, vice president of community engagement and impact at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. “These grants provide flexible resources organizations need to care for people, respond to local needs, and make a meaningful difference for Granite Staters.”
The Community Grants Program is open to nonprofits serving New Hampshire and select bordering communities in Maine and Vermont. Organizations were able to apply for up to $20,000 per year for up to two years for general operating support or for funding for specific projects. Most grants awarded were multiyear grants.
Grant funding is helping expand access to childcare, support youth leadership development, bring the arts to local stages, advance environmental justice, and much more.
