Thanks from a young scholar

Reef Rogers of Dublin wrote in recently to say thanks for the scholarship support

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation awards more than $5 million in scholarships annually to about 1500 New Hampshire students to help them achieve their educational goals.

We love it when they write and let us know how they are doing. This landed in our mailbox recently from Reef Rogers of Dublin, who is studying Sports Journalism at Springfield College and pursuing his passion for photography. His photo (above) was recently featured on the cover of the school’s literary magazine. Congrats, Reef. What a beautiful foliage photo!

Dear New Hampshire Charitable Foundation,

Thank you very much for the scholarship you’ve awarded me. It is allowing me to continue with my studies at Springfield College. I’m in the Sports Journalism program there, and have recently (within the last year) started to develop my photography skills, hoping to tie them into the degree I will get. It is really becoming a passion of mine. I’ve included a print of one of my first photos that was part of a show I had in my hometown and that was featured as the cover of my school’s literary magazine, which I also serve as an editor for. I really appreciate your continued support.

Sincerely,

Reef Rogers
