Michael Wilson

CFO and Vice President of Finance



Michael Wilson leads the Foundation’s investment, finance and information services departments. As CFO, he manages more than $500 million in investments across the full range of asset classes.

He has been with the Foundation since 2005, and has held senior finance and operations positions in the business and nonprofit sectors in the U.S. and in England.

Michael speaks frequently on the topic of impact investing – the practice of investing for social and environmental criteria as well as financial return – at national nonprofit conferences.

He is a board member of New Hampshire Public Radio, former board vice-chair and finance director at the Capitol Center for the Arts, and a former mentor to entrepreneurship students at the University of New Hampshire.

Michael was named a Financial Executive of the Year by New Hampshire Business Review in 2013.

Michael has lived and traveled all over the world, from the United Kingdom to Asia to South America. He graduated from Bates College and has a master’s degree from the London School of Economics.

He lives with his family in Barnstead.
