The Charitable Foundation has awarded more than $2.6 million in funding to 153 nonprofits that serve the New Hampshire community through its 2023 Community Grants program.
The application grants program is made possible through the generosity of New Hampshire people, past and present, who have donated resources to the Foundation to help make New Hampshire a community where everyone can thrive. Funding for these grants comes from a combination of fund types at the Foundation: unrestricted and field-of-interest funds, along with statewide discretionary funds and donor-advised funds.
The awards were single-year, unrestricted operating support for nonprofits doing everything from providing dental care to people in need to offering arts programming to mitigating climate change.
