Since 1972, the Foundation has distributed more than $35 million to New Hampshire students to help them reach their educational goals. The Foundation administers over 350 separate funds, established by individuals, families, organizations and businesses, to support higher education. This is the largest source of independent student aid in New Hampshire.

NOTE: The deadline for the Statewide Student Aid Program has passed (4/15/09).
If you are planning to attend a 2-year or vocational program, the online application will be re-opened on Monday, April 20th for you to apply for the Carl T. Witherell and/or Career Aid for Technical Students scholarship programs.
When you apply using our online application process, you need only submit ONE application to be automatically considered for most of the programs available through the Foundation. We will automatically match you to the programs for which you are eligible.
The list of programs available through the online process follows. A brief description of the each program, its eligibility guidelines, award criteria and timeframe are available in the PDF next to each program name.
Award decisions will be made throughout the spring, based on each program.

The following programs are NOT accessible through the online application process. You must download a PDF application for each of these programs; however, the application must be submitted via the U.S. Postal Service and NOT through email or fax. Each program has different guidelines and preferences that are fully described on each coversheet:

Adult Student Aid for independent, adult students. Deadlines are May 15, August 15 and December 15. |

The Medallion Fund for students studying trades or other vocational career paths. No deadline.

Citizens Bank Foundation High School Achievement Award for students who are planning to attend a two- or four-year college or technical school. Deadline is February 27, 2009.

Dunkin Donuts Scholarship for high school seniors throughout New Hampshire who are planning to attend a two- or four-year college or technical school. Deadline is March 20, 2009.

Nottingham Women's Club Scholarship for residents of the town of Nottingham. Deadline is May 16, 2009.

Fisher Cats Scholar Athletes Scholarship for NH athletes who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, athletic achievement and civic involvement. Deadline is March 31, 2009. Click here for the application.
