In recent months, the foundation has made more than $108,672 in grants and student aid awards in the Upper Valley Region. Examples include:
Advance Transit received $15,000 to develop and implement a planned-giving program.
Lebanon Opera House received $20,000 for operating support.
Mascoma Valley Health Initiative received $20,000 to establish an Upper Valley Regional Public Health Collaborative.
Montshire Museum of Science received $5,000 to finalize the design of an educational outdoor exhibit on the Connecticut River.
Ottauquechee Community Partnership received $5,000 to develop the Vermont Youth Action Network, a team of youth and adult health advocates.
Revels North, Inc. received $20,000 to hire an executive director.
Upper Valley Housing Coalition received $12,972 for operating support for Upper Valley Strong.
Upper Valley Land Trust received $4,500 to update a 2006 survey of Upper Valley attitudes toward land conservation, growth, quality.
Valley Regional Hospital received $2,500 to promote community wellness through health screenings and education.
West Central Services, Inc. received $3,700 to improve its website and create an online resource for the community.
Women's Information Service received $15,000 for operating support.
