Recent Grants in the Manchester Region
In recent months, the Foundation has made more than $101,200 in grants and student aid awards in the Manchester Region. Examples include:
City Year NH received $20,000 to support implementation of the Whole School, Whole Child initiative.
Currier Museum of Art received $20,000 to research, draft, and publish on line illustrated essays on 100 objects from the collection.
Granite Pathways received $20,000 for operating support.
Greater Derry Community Health Services, Inc. received $20,000 to expant the Be-Well Project to include part time primary care.
Makin' It Happen Coalition received $2,700 to support the Inspired Recovery, annual event.
Raymond Voter Information Project received $3,500 to support Strategic Planning to Promote and Sustain Citizen Involvement in Raymond Voter Information Project.
Southern NH Planning Commission received $25,000 to implement a pilot program and statewide advocacy to expand resource sharing.
Student Conservation Association, Inc. received $10,000 to implement a conservation-focused youth training and employment program.
