The Connecticut River watershed has been the subject of numerous studies, planning efforts, management documents, and federal-designation processes. The results of these activities provide a wealth of guidance about relative priorities for restoration work within the watershed. Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to consult with the appropriate federal, state, regional and local agencies and organizations before applying to the MEF to determine how their project fits within established priorities or planning guidance.
