North Country Region

About us

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is embedded in every community in the state through a system of regional advisory boards and incorporators, and by having staff live and work in each region. 

In the North Country Region, the advisory board, in partnership with Foundation staff, review and approve grant requests, host events, and identify and lead community initiatives. The incorporators are our ambassadors introducing their friends and colleagues to work of the Foundation.

In 2011, with assets totaling nearly $35.4 million, donors contributed $820,000 in charitable gifts and the foundation distributed more than $939,000 in grants and scholarships throughout the 84 communities included in the region. Review our most recent grants.
