About the Fiscal Policy Committee
The Fiscal Policy Committee provides financial oversight of Foundation operations and recommends policies to the board of directors to ensure that there are sufficient financial resources for management and staff to carry out the mission of the Foundation.
 
The committee consists of a representative from each of the regional advisory boards and includes the chair and treasurer from the board of directors. Committee members report back to the regional advisory boards regarding policy decisions.
 
Policies focus on strategic issues such as metrics, level and usage of operating reserves, and the Foundation fee rate and method of calculation.
 
The Fiscal Policy Committee also reviews the Foundation’s quarterly financial statements and the annual and three-year operating budgets and recommends approval to the Foundation’s board of directors.
