The NH Charitable Foundation has an opening for an Accounting Specialist. This position is responsible for accounting and administrative support as well as transaction processing within the Finance department. Typical responsibilities include processing donations; payment of grants, scholarships and vendor invoices; general ledger posting; and account reconciliations. The role also maintains investment files and carries out administrative work for investment capital calls, invoices, and statements.
Requirements include a two-year degree in Accounting or Accounting certification; 2-4 years of experience (in a nonprofit setting preferred); and strong skills in Microsoft Excel necessary. The position is in a professional office environment working closely with other staff.
