Senior Student Aid Associate

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is recruiting to fill the position of Senior Student Aid Associate in our Community Impact Department to provide a range of support to our Student Aid initiatives and team. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of small-scale student aid programs, which includes conducting outreach, evaluating applications and making funding recommendations/award decisions, as well as facilitating independent advisory committee meetings. The position also provides broad administrative support to assigned directors, senior program officers and grant committees; preparing, tracking and oversight of department documentation; and supporting a variety of internal and external meetings. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated success in multitasking competing priorities a must. Competitive salary and excellent benefits offered.

Requirements include a 2-year degree with five years related nonprofit work, student financial aid experience a plus. Strong critical thinking skills and proficient computer and technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite required. Web-based technology including web content management systems and Blackbaud database software knowledge a plus. Experience should also include high-level administrative support and demonstrated success in organization and planning.

This position is based in Concord, New Hampshire. Regular attendance at evening and daytime events around the state may be required.
