Trueblood named vice president of communications and marketing at New Hampshire Charitable Foundation
CONCORD, N.H. – The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has named David E. Trueblood of Sunapee as its vice president of communications and marketing. In this role, he will be responsible for the public profile of the foundation and for raising public awareness and understanding of its work.
Trueblood is a former director of public relations for The Boston Foundation, a community foundation serving the Greater Boston region, later serving as vice president for the Center for Effective Philanthropy, a national organization that works to increase the impact of foundations. He is a former journalist, and was managing editor of the Community Newspaper Company, which published almost 100 newspapers and specialty publications in eastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod. That company is now part of Gatehouse Media, a national group.
Trueblood earned a Master of Arts in history from Harvard University and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
