Apply for a Scholarship
Each year the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation distributes more than $3 million in student aid and loans. These financial awards defray academic costs and help students reach their educational goals.
A variety of support is offered through our scholarship and loan programs. We administer more than 350 separate funds — established by individuals, families, organizations, and businesses — to provide scholarships for education beyond high school. Our funding priorities include:
-
Closing the gap for those with financial need.
-
Enabling access for low-income and minority students to higher education.
-
Encouraging skill and knowledge acquisition that can be shared with your community.
-
Recognizing good work.
Qualified students who meet the individual eligibility criteria for the programs listed below may apply. Most scholarships are targeted to New Hampshire residents, though a few are open to Vermont and Maine students who live in border towns.
